Help Wanted – YOU Can Make a Difference, On or Off the Bike!

Coach John

Hello friends,

Hope you’re all feeling those spring vibes—temps next week might hit the 60s! WOO HOO!

I’m reaching out because we need your help. As you may know, some of our leader have stepped down and others will be looking to step down at the end of 2025. They’ve given so much to this team over the years, and I’ll always be grateful for their leadership.

Now, it’s time for new folks to come on board—and that’s where you come in! You don’t need to be a mountain biker (or even ride at all) to make a big impact. But if you do want to ride, we’d love more on-the-bike leadership to help with practices and events.

The good news? IYC has a strong track record of bringing in new people and getting them up to speed. WE WANT YOU!

Here’s where we need help. We’ll train and support you!

Off the Bike

  • Reach out to new leads from our website
  • Promote the team in your community (school emails, flyers in local shops, team participation in community events)
  • Manage the roster as new riders sign up
  • Help communicate with the team as pre-season starts (events, meetups, etc.), working with other team leaders
  • Identify local sponsors and assist with fundraising (we have a sponsor package ready to go!)

On the Bike

  • Join as a ride helper (beginner level)
  • Assist with skills instruction
  • Lead trail rides for intermediate and advanced riders
  • Help manage the roster, practices, and events

If you have any questions at all, please reach out—call, text, or email me anytime at 215-704-1556.

The 2025 season kicks off soon, and we’d love for you to be part of making it a success!

Let’s do this!
