Help us get more kids outside, on bikes, and connected to their community.
Independence Youth Cycling is excited to release our 2026 Sponsorship Program, inviting local businesses, families, and community partners to support youth cycling programs across the Philadelphia region.
IYC is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses bicycling to help middle- and high-school youth become more active, confident, self-reliant, and connected to their community. Through mountain biking, cyclocross, enduro, downhill, gravel riding, bike maintenance, adventure programming, and environmental stewardship, we work to get kids off the couch, outside, and away from their video screens.
Our programs now support a growing network of local youth cycling teams and activities serving southern Montgomery County, Northeast Philadelphia, Northwest Philadelphia, and the greater Philadelphia area. IYC programs include interscholastic mountain bike teams, regional MTB and cyclocross racing programs, Bikes on Demand, skills development, coach training, scholarships, and community outreach.
Why Sponsorship Matters
Sponsorship helps make IYC possible.
Your support helps provide:
- Need-based youth scholarships
- Community outreach and learn-to-bike opportunities
- Team safety gear and equipment
- Coach development and training
- Racing, riding, and adventure programming
- Bike maintenance education
- Environmental stewardship and trail work opportunities
Most importantly, sponsorship helps more kids participate.
For many families, the cost of bikes, gear, travel, race registration, and team participation can be a barrier. IYC works hard to keep programs affordable and accessible, and sponsorship support directly helps us continue that mission.
A Community Platform for Sponsors
Our teams and programs are highly visible in the community through races, rides, community events, park and trail workdays, social media, team jerseys, sponsor banners, and our website. IYC families are also deeply engaged with the businesses and organizations that support our student-athletes.
The 2026 Sponsorship Program includes multiple levels of support:
Program Title Sponsor — $2,500+
Premier sponsorship opportunities are available for major IYC programs, including NICA/PICL Series, MASS Series, Cyclocross, Bikes on Demand, Coach Training, and Scholarships/Financial Aid. Program Title Sponsors receive premier brand placement, opportunities to promote directly at IYC events, and the ability to discuss custom promotional activities.
Gold Sponsor — $1,000
Gold Sponsors receive logo placement on team jerseys, an individual promotional highlight on IYC social channels, recognition at the end-of-year banquet, and all Silver Sponsor benefits.
Silver Sponsor — $550
Silver Sponsors receive logo placement on the team sponsor banner displayed at events, logo/business name/link placement on the IYC website, and a thank-you mention on IYC social media.
Business Supporter — Up to $550
Business Supporters receive logo and business name placement on the IYC website and a thank-you mention on IYC social media.
2026 Sponsor Commitment Deadline
The sponsor commitment deadline for the 2026 program is:
June 1, 2026
Sponsors are encouraged to commit early, especially at the Silver and Gold levels, so IYC has time to properly include logos and sponsor recognition on jerseys, banners, website materials, and social media promotions.
